Private International Law
In detail…
Our firm operates in private international law.
This specific branch of law makes it possible to understand the legal relationships between individuals, with the particularity of presenting an element of foreignness in relation to France. These situations therefore involve two sets of questions.
On the one hand, it is necessary to know whether the French courts have jurisdiction, and on the other hand, to know the law of which State to apply.
We thus intervene in international family law and we regularly deal with cases of international divorces but we also intervene in all types of international disputes (international sales, stanby letter of credit, international contracts, international successions). Some regions of the world have thus formalized their international relations by coming together like the European Union by adopting European regulations common to all the states of the European Union.
Finally, KLEIN has experience in mediation and arbitration and regularly advises clients wishing to use these methods of conflict resolution. with the Paris Chamber of Arbitration and the International Chamber of Commerce..
